ING Half-Marathon Training

The ING Half-Marathon is March 30! Gotta get moving! Here's how I'm getting ready:

Sat Jan 12 - 1 hour 5 minutes - sunny, warm
Sun Jan 13 - 1 hour 3 minutes - chilly, but got warm fast!
Mon Jan 14 - 35 minutes - freezing!
Tues Jan 15 - 35 minutes - I stopped by Mama's to give her a good-morning hug on my run. She was sleeping.
Fri Jan 18 - 35 minutes - warmer than expected
Sat Jan 19 - 45 minutes - Luckily, I got the run in before it snowed!
Sun Jan 20 - 1 hour 10 minutes - It was 24 degrees when I started running! Fortunately the sun was shining, and by the end I'd taken off my running jacket.
Tues Jan 22 - 35 minutes - I ran into Nursecare of Buckhead to give Mama a hug! She was awake and smiled at me!
Thurs Jan 24 - 35 minutes
Fri Jan 25 - 35 minutes -  I had to run at 5:15 AM, and it was 20 degrees!
Sat Jan 26 - 1 hour 12 minutes
Sun Jan 27 - 35 minutes
Mon Jan 28 - 35 minutes
Tues Jan 29 - 35 minutes
Wed Jan 30 - 35 minutes

I have run a lot since Jan 30, including an hour the morning we left for the wedding in Jackson and another hour the next morning on a treadmill in the hotel fitness center. (Running on treadmills is very boring to me! Fortunately, Groundhog Day came on the tv about halfway through, so that kept me occupied.)

Sat Feb 9 - 1 hour 20 minutes
